  Due to staff holidays and sickness we are a little behind in processing the high volume of repeat prescriptions - please allow a couple of extra days or put your slip into us a few days early to prevent delays in receiving your medication.

Lincs Referral Facilitation Service (RFS) Privacy Statement

The purpose of the Lincolnshire Referral Facilitation Service (RFS) is to support the referrals process and ensure that patients are cared for in the right setting at the right time. 

The service facilitates the patient referral process - from initial GP referral to first outpatient appointment.  It supports the majority of routine and urgent GP referrals although there will be some CCG specific specialty exclusions - all 2ww and non-elective/emergencies are excluded from this service.

Patient referred following receipt of advice and guidance will still be referred via RFS but will bypass the clinical peer review process.

A Deed of Undertaking is signed by Optum as Data Processor and the CCG's as the NHS Contract Authority on behalf of the GP Data Controllers. The GP Practices are 'beneficiaries' of the Deed of Undertaking.  By the CCG's and Optum signing the Deed of Undertaking, that establishes a legal contract between the GP Data Controller and Optum as Data Processor.

The Deed of Undertaking is Data Protection Action 2018 (incorporating GDPR) compliant.
