Flu Season is here!

This year there are 3 types of flu vaccine:

1. a quadrivalent nasal spray vaccine given to young people aged 2 to 17 years of age - clinic to be arranged in October (date tbc)

2. a quadrivalent injected vaccine for eligible adults aged 18 and over but BELOW 65 - clinics scheduled for Friday 21st September and Wed 3rd October.

3. an adjuvanted injected vaccine for eligible adults OVER 65 - clinics scheduled for Friday 14th September and Friday 12th October.

Health Visitors

A health visitor is a registered nurse who has received training particularly related to babies, children and pregnant women. Their role is to provide families with children under five years old with support and advice around the general aspects of mental, physical and social wellbeing.

The health visitor can be contacted through the surgery reception staff.
